Tip Tuesday – Seasonal Warrior

I live in Oklahoma.  Love it here.  Love the people, love the pace, love the simplicity.  But you know that line from the musical “Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains”?  Yeah.  I don’t love that so much.  Because that wind brings pollen and dust and mold spores from hither and yon and my head feels like it’s going to explode.

Anyone else?

This recipe has oils that are shown to help with seasonal allergy symptoms so you can enjoy the season and maybe even venture outside a little 😉

Seasonal Warrior
**CAN BE safe for kids**

2 drops Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens)
2 drops Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) *not safe for kids  or (Eucalyptus dives) * safe for kids
1 drop Blue Tansy (Tanacetum annuum)

Blend together and diffuse.  This would also be a good roller bottle for keeping handy.  I actually prefer E. dives because it really dries up a runny nose and E. dives is also a safer choice for asthmatics or anyone with respiratory sensitivities.  And obviously, if you are diffusing around kids under the age of 10.

Happy Spring-ing!
