Lucky in Love with my Oils!

We have FINALLY had just little glimpses of spring this week.  I wanted something that made me think of the new green of spring!  It’s coming!  Not quite time for flowers, just freshness.

Lucky Shamrock
Diffuser Recipe

2 drops Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)
2 drops Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens)
1 drop Spearmint (Mentha spicata)

Spearmint has a tendency to overwhelm any recipe, so you can try a sub (below) or just use a toothpick dipped in the bottle and then put into the water. Unless you really like mint, then go for it!
As always, if this is too many drops for your diffuser, you can make a bigger batch in an empty glass container and save the rest for later!

Substitutions:

You could sub Lemon for Lime, or Bergamot for a little milder smell. The Bergamot is great for a little calming.

I love Cypress, but you could sub Hemlock Spruce or Balsam Fir for a similar effect and smell.

If you aren’t a huge fan of mint, or maybe not overpowering mint, try Eucalyptus dives or Bergamot Mint. I am not a huge mint fan, but these are mellow and delightful and not overwhelming at all!

Happy (almost) Spring!

Lindsay
